Problem
The previous owners of this Austin, TX home had stained the Saltillo dark in the entrance and kitchen area. Notice how dark the floor is in the BEFORE image. The new owner preferred a brighter look.
Solution
We protected the surrounding areas with plastic sheeting and masking tape, as is our custom with every job we do. To remove the existing topical and stain, we completely stripped the floor, revealing the beautiful, natural appearance of the Saltillo tile. Then we sealed the tile and grout with Stonelok Topical, a clear gloss coating for abrasion and stain resistance.
