Damaged beyond repair?
At first glance, this granite countertop looks like it needs to be replaced. After all, a huge chunk of it is missing, as you can see in the BEFORE images.
The Austin, TX homeowners called StoneCare of Texas to find out if there was any hope to save their existing countertop.
How we repaired it
Our skilled technicians are trained in granite repair processes. For this job, we used a specially formulated and tinted polyester mixture to fill in the gaps. Once it was completely dried, we used diamond encrusted pads to grind the area velvety smooth.
Like new, once again!
As you can see in the AFTER images, the countertop looks almost exactly like it did when it was first installed. Only the most trained and critical eyes could tell there had been any damage.
